It used to take much more than just an e-mail. Maybe it was the punctuated band name that caused my attention and/or interest to be heightened. Canadian six-piece Hey Rosetta! have apparently been at it longer than I care to admit...me and my blind eye have been missing out. They been listened to and written about at length long before I was enlightened. Two years after the release of the Plan Your Escape EP in 2007, frontman Tim Baker and friends see their new debut album Into Your Lungs (and around in your heart and in through your blood) met with wide acclaim. I usually don't consider myself ultra lucky to be a Minneapolitan, but HR! makes me think otherwise. As the band cruises through Canada on tour, they've decided to make one US stop at Minneapolis's 400 Bar. If you're in the area, stop by and see them on April 9th.
